Michael Schumacher says the one good thing he can take out of qualifying in Hungary is that he's starting on the clean side of the grid.
Despite making it into the top-ten qualifying shoot-out, Schumacher had yet another unspectacular Saturday afternoon with Mercedes GP.
The German could only manage the ninth best time, two seconds off the pace of pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel.
But, the good news, he's at least starting Sunday's 70-lap Hungarian GP from the clean side of the grid.
"The positive thing that I can take from qualifying today is that I will be starting from the better side of the grid in ninth place," he said.
"However there are also things which we need to investigate further as the first two sectors did not work out well for us today.
"They were fine with the prime tyres, but not with the super softs, so we will have a close look into the reasons why.
"As always, we will try to do the best that we can in the race tomorrow."
