Changes to the Monaco grid

Changes to the Monaco grid

There were two changes to the Monaco grid after Sergio Perez was ruled out of the race and Lewis Hamilton was penalised.

Perez suffered a concussion and a sprained thigh in his horrific accident during qualifying. The Sauber rookie has been ruled out of Sunday's race as a result of his injuries.

Meanwhile, Hamilton, who had qualified P7, was dropped after his best qualifying time removed for having not driven through the chicane correctly.

The McLaren driver will now start the race P9. It would have been P10 had it not been for Perez being ruled out.
